SACNAS 2013

I was able to attend the 2013 SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science) Conference in San Antonio, TX (funded by a SACNAS Travel grant). It's an amazing conference for undergrads and graduate students who are looking to make lasting connections in all STEM subjects -- I was escpecially impressed with the EEB presence there!! NESCent hosted a Conversations With Scientists panel/ group discussion session in which a number of great scientists (PIs & graduate students) in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology spoke with Undergrads about anything and everything in the field!
